Essential Oils and Pregnancy

Here I am sitting in my daughters stroller, 6 months pregnant at Disney World. Pregnancy can be pretty uncomfortable for many women. Legs get achey, backs hurt, morning sickness, swollen feet, blaahh...
I used essential oils through both my pregnancies and loved the effects. First of all, nutrition and exercise helps enourmously ( I recommend Yoga for pregnant women) Second, stress management and rest make a huge difference in a good experience and a great experience. Third, USE your OILS!! Lavender, Ylang Ylang, and Peppermint are my personal Favs during pregnancy. Sooo many ways to use oils.
1- Smell peppermint to help relieve morning sickness... put it in a diffuser or add it to a bottle of water and spray it in the air. Don't overdo it though! Smell in moderation.
2- Take your Lavender and go get a pedicure! Ask the pedicurist to use it in the water and with the massage.
3-  Use Lavender everywhere in every way... on your pillow, for massage, on your feet, on the wrists and behind ears, on your face and chest ...  it's calming and will help you relax and enjoy being pregnant. The list of benefits is endless... I am happy to email it to anyone interested.
4 - Ylang Ylang is perfect for relaxing in the bath tub or a foot massage. It will calm anxiety, balance equilibrium, influence sexual energy, help with hair loss, insomnia... and more! Use it and be happy!!! Your husband will thank you!
