A safe and effective place to apply essential oils for everyone in the family is on the bottom of the feet. I find this is the best for both my kids because Halli is ubba sensitive to smell and anything but peppermint or lavender or citrus bliss sends her running the other direction. I apply 1-2 drops on the bottom of her feet then put on her socks and shoes... and she's good to go. This also works best for Brynn because her skin is very sensitive leaving her with a red burning sensation unless I heavily use a carrier oil. I of course want my girls to have a positive experience and the feet make the it possible. Whether it's Serenity for sleep or Oregano for getting rid of an illness. It's all good! The great thing about applying oil to the feet is that the feet is the second fastest area of the body to absorb oils. The large pores on the bottom of the feet soak up the oil and get it into the body fast. And hey, who doesn't love a foot massage! My kids love it!
