Essential Oils & Dogs

This video clip shows our little puppy friend Koco. She came to visit us for a few days. To help calm nervousness and anxiety I applied lavender on her paws, between her toes, and on her ears. I also spayed her with citrus bliss, which I added to a spray bottle with water. In this video you will see me spraying her bed to neutralize odor and kill any germs.
The mixture I am spraying is water and 6 drops of Lemon oil.
Using essential oils on dogs is easy & effective & totally makes sense. Dogs feel the same emotions we feel, dogs also love smell just like we do... apply a small amount to the tops of their feet for them to niff or apply over a muzzle...they love it!  Only 1-2 drops of oil is necessary because animals respond more quickly than humans do. Franctionated coconut oil can be used to dilute the oil and help it go further. Oils can also be used to treat bleeding, bones, arthritis, colds, cancer, ear infections, fleas, heart issues, and MUCH more. To keep our dogs healthy we can take an active role in treatment and preventative medicine -just like we do in our own lives. Embrace oils and really LOVE your dog. :)

Thanks for coming to visit us Koco!!
